As a result of this focus on relationships and taking the long-term view, our companies have been able to achieve a lot of things we’re proud of. Like high employee engagement scores on our regular employee surveys. Or very low employee turnover. Our companies have been able to invest a lot in their environmental performance, both at their plants and in their products. And they’ve been recognized with a few environmental awards along the way from some organizations we hold in high regard, like the US EPA.

Over the last 80 years we’ve been able to work with a lot of great partners, and we’ve been able to do things in the community, whether it’s helping to protect the right whale, sending people to university, or lowering the costs of families traveling to the hospital for their children’s care. And we’ve continued to be able to grow our companies and create employment opportunities where people can learn and grow.
